HRH The Duchess of Cornwall to attend 26th annual ICAP Charity Day

London, 22 November 2018: ICAP, part of TP ICAP group, the world’s largest interdealer broker, is today pleased to announce that its 26th annual global Charity Day will be held on Wednesday, 5 December 2018, with attendees set to include Her Royal Highness, The Duchess of Cornwall.

On this day, 100% of the revenues and commissions ICAP generates globally will be donated to approximately 100 charities worldwide.

Since Charity Day was launched in December 1993, ICAP has raised almost £140 million for more than 2,300 charities worldwide. In 2017 alone, £4.7 million was raised by ICAP’s global offices.

In the UK, 17 charitable organisations are set to benefit this year. They will be joined by their celebrity patrons and ambassadors at ICAP’s offices in London, where they will help brokers close deals and boost broking volumes with clients.

This year, HRH, The Duchess of Cornwall, will be attending Charity Day in London in support of The Silver Line, a free helpline for older people, of which The Duchess is a patron.

Nicolas Breteau, Group Chief Executive Officer, TP ICAP, said: “For 26 years, ICAP has led the way when it comes to supporting charitable causes.

“This year, we are focusing on the themes of social mobility, with an emphasis on education and training; assisting disadvantaged children and families; and, health and disability. Each one of the charities we are supporting has an incredible and unique story, and I am delighted to be working with a record number of charities in the UK this year.”
